When we think about fitness, we instantly think about physical fitness. This is everything that has to do with our external bodies. We take care of our physical fitness by making sure that we exercise. But what if I told you that there is so much more to fitness than just the physical? That’s right, there’s more!
Your fitness framework is broken into four different components:
Hence the acronym, “SEMP”. These are the four aspects that make up your overall level of fitness. It is my goal that you are balanced in all areas of fitness. You want to work on all four of these components to have a balanced and more effective level of fitness.
Over the course of the next few weeks we’ll look at the four components of your SEMP Fitness and then tie it all together.
Think of it like your car. Your car has four wheels, at least hopefully it does. In order for your car to run smoothly, all four wheels have to be balanced. From time to time when you take your car for servicing, your tires get rotated to make sure that your car is balance and rides well.
In the same way your four SEMP Fitness components have to be worked and developed so that you are at your peak performance and that you perform at your best.
So first I just want you to get this concept in your mind, as we’ll be working with this concept and guiding your fitness to a whole new level. You’ll see and feel changes you never thought were possible. You’ll feel and look like a completely transformed person.
